Giants 32-Falcons 18

Sebastian, my oldest son, is playing pee wee football this year. It is his second year to play. This year he is playing for the Giants. He had his first game this morning. It was a close out, they beat the Falcons 32-18. He played for the Falcons last year.

It was so much fun. They all looked so cute and played so hard!! (my husband just walked behind me and said "Football players are not cute, they are tough!" but they did look cute)
This year Sebastian has decided that he is not very interested in playing football but we have told him that we have started the season and he has to finish it. He says that he is not going to play nest year.

They took pictures today too and of course I was up there snapping pictures too I got a few good one that I am gonna share with y'all.

Gosh he is handsome!!

Sebastian is front row far right!!! (I had to resize the picture so you could see Sebastian, if you want to see the picture a little clearer click on it and it will take you to my flickr page.)

This is the pep talk before the game. Our coach is wearing a Tony Romo jersey! For those who are not football fans, Romo is the quarter back for the Dallas Cowboys. I kinda gave him a hard time about it!!

And I just had to throw this one in. We played on the senior high football field in Prescott. Our mascot for Prescott is a Curley Wolf. This over sized chair is just inside the gate at the field. This is my baby Nash sitting in it, he loved it. I thought we would never get him out of that chair!!

School Days

Well fall is here and Sebastian got his first report card today, all A's and B's. He got two A's, one in Language and the other one in spelling and two B's, one in Math and another in Reading. I am soooo proud of him. He is so smart. He loves school. I hope that he always does.

Also I got a letter in his folder about PIV, Pinnacle Internet Viewer. It allows me to look at his grades, attendance and any assignments that he might have. I think I will like this. It makes it easy to be involved just a little more with Sebastian's education.

9-11

Today is my Papa's birthday. And a great day of tragedy for our country. I made sure we had a flag flying at work today, I had to bring mine from home........Its huge!!! I still pray for the people who lost loved ones and the people who were lost.

Everyone remembers exactly what they where doing and where they were when it happened. I was in school at Henderson when I found out what was going on. I went to class and no one was there. I left and went to the student union and found alot of people gathered around the TV's in there. It was just before the south tower was struck by the Uninted Airlines Flight 175.

I found this tribute to the people and what they went throught today seven years ago. The images in this video had a really strong impact on me. I think they will on you too.

Life Is Good.........

Sunset up close 8-5-08

Sunsets like these always remind me of how small we really are and how the little things in life are just that. They make me thankful that I am alive healthy and able to watch my kids grow into great young men. With the day to day struggles that every family has, it is important to me that I and my husband can provide the love and support that our kids need.

I am so very thankful for all the people and things in my life that make it wonderful. It is very easy to take for granted the things that we have that other families go without so often.
